On reflection...and speaking through personal experiences...to find a fabricator of the skill level needed to change dreams into reality is difficult enough...then to add an ability to give the customer "exactly" what he wants from his chassis is a trick that is hard to find anywhere else in the United Kingdom to my knowledge...
Many frame manufacturers can build superb chassis... but only if they are replicating an existing frame...some show little interest in the true Bespoke frame manufacturing I found with Gavin at Gia Engineering..
It was a fantastic experience to be hands on with the design of my very "one off" frame...and the pleasure of owning a riding a truly "hand made in england" motorcycle chassis is a thrill thats hard to express unless you have experienced it for yourself...
The whole project was a pleasure indeed...and seeing your very own frame grow from a collection of tubes bent and joined with such amazing skill is an experience that I am already thinking of repeating with another project soon.
The quality was superb... and GIA was happy to work through any changes I made to the frame throughout the build....I cannot recommend highly enough that anyone looking for a true one off frame or swingarm built to the highest standards should give Gav a call
Gav's ability to turn ideas into reality is a rare one indeed...and THANK YOU GAV for making my own "ultimate dream bike " into a very ultimate reality.
If my chassis is an example Gav's product...then I see a bright future for GIA Engineering. To have the first chassis bulit at Gia engineering is a great thrill ...and a great honour....and visiting the immaculatly clean workshop during the build was always a pleasure.
